To assist in the overall duties required to maintain an effective and efficient food preparation facility.

 

     1. Assist in preparation and serving of USDA reimbursable meals and Ala Carte items.

 

  1. Gather supplies from storeroom, freezer, or refrigerator and deliver to designated work area.

    

  1. Assists in the maintaining of a clean and safe work area; to include the cleaning of equipment, utensils, and the serving and dining areas.

 

  1.       To maintain appropriate personal health and hygiene, and continuously practice sanitary food handling procedures.

 

  1. Label and date food items, prior to proper storage.

 

  1. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules as directed.

    

  1. Other duties as assigned.
